Description

Let G be an affine connected algebraic group acting regularly on an affine Krull scheme X = Spec(R) over the complex number field C. We study on the equidimensionality of the inclusion R[G] → R by the minimal calculation of the ring R[G] of invariants of G in R by cutting prime semi-invariants which form free modules over R[G]. Consequently e see that C[V] is free as a C[V][G]module, for any equidimensional representation V of a reductive algebraic group G with simple semisimple part,
