全学英語教育科(現人間力創成総合教育センター・語学教育プログラム)では、2010年度に教育理念・方針を策定して以来、それに沿って教育を行い、その成果と課題について本誌で報告してきた。2020年度については、新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大に伴って決定された授業実施方針により初年次の英語科目である「英語スキル I / II 」は全て遠隔で行われることとなった。本稿では、この決定を受け急遽実施されることとなった春学期の「英語スキル I 」の遠隔授業に焦点を当てて、その運営方法・成果・課題などについて、担当教員に行ったアンケート結果を中心に報告する。また、一部のクラスで行った受講生へのアンケート結果や、成績評価についても述べる。

When comprehensive curriculum revision was made in 2011 for General Education in Chubu University, the division of English Education(Language Education Program, Global Education Center)established a new educational policy and has been providing education based on it and reporting the results as measured by the achievement tests, the freshman test, and the proficiency test. In the spring semester in 2020, however, because of the spread of COVID-19, classes were held online. At the end of the spring term in 2020, we conducted a questionnaire survey of teachers in charge of the “English Skill I " classes and we report the results of it.We also report the results of questionnaire surveys of students taking online classes which were conducted in some classes.
