This paper addresses an array of components which constitute the framework and substances of teaching practice for EFL teacher preparation. The author asserts the aim of teaching practicum consists in providing pre-service teachers with opportunities for them to recognise the realities of classrooms and speculate upon themselves as unique growing personalities as well as prospective teachers. Teaching practice means more than the opportunities to focus on implementing and enchancing pedagogical knowledge and skills. Discussed in detail thereinafrer are the daily routines, school obligations and instructonal activities which pre-service teachers must execute as main part of practicum. Furthermore unique attributes and problematic teaching behaviours of stydebt teacgers are explocated with illustration of relevant case studies and questionnaires about the developmental stages of teacher preparation. From the detailed analysis of facts and observations, the author proposes that in order to make the most of teaching experience, teachers-in-training should correlate and integrate classroom events with a number of intellectual, socio-cultural, curricular, economical and moral factors which affect students' scholastic attainments and target language proficiency. Particularly regarding the procedures of lesson planning, pre-service teachers should consider the larger scale and continuity of classroom teaching in a more consistent and systematic way.
