日本人間性心理学会第39回大会は、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響を考慮し、従来の参集する形式ではなく、Zoom によるオンライン形式で開催された。「今、ここで」起こる体験を重視する人間性心理学会の年次大会をオンライン形式で開催することについて賛否があったが、今後の人間性心理学の実践や、日本人間性心理学会の年次大会の開催について検討する良い機会となった。第39回大会の開催を通し、人間性心理学の実践や、学会の年次大会の開催は対面形式とオンライン形式を組み合わせることで、人間性心理学会の目的をより多角的に達成することが期待された。

The 39th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Humanistic Psychology was held online through Zoom instead of meeting together-one of the traditional ways, in consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic. Though there was controversy over holding the online annual meeting of the Japanese Society of Humanistic Psychology, which emphasizes experiences that occur “here and now”, the 39th Annual Meeting was a good opportunity to discuss the future practice of humanistic psychology and the holding of the annual meeting of the Japanese Society of Humanistic Psychology. Through the 39th conference, it is hoped that by combining face-to-face ways with online ones, the practice of humanistic psychology and the annual conference of the Society will be able to achieve formats to achieve the objectives of the Society for Humanistic Psychology in more multifaceted way.
