Abstract

There is a cyber physical system (CPS) that accumulates information from physical space and analyzes it in cyber space and feeds back the results. We have proposed a Floating Cyber Physical System (F-CPS) , which provides spatio-temporal data that depend on the location and time of data generation, and functions obtained by analyzing the data. Also, we have proposed a large-capacity spatio-temporal data retention system as a means of delivering in the F-CPS. In our previous study, we evaluated a transmission control mechanism to judge data completeness by simulation. However, considering the movement of obstacles and fluctuation of radio waves in the real environment, packet loss occurs frequently, and the system may not be able to have complete data and may not function. In this study, we investigated a method of sending data with redundant packets and recovering missing data using the redundant packets at the receiving side using actual equipment, and evaluated the impact on the entire large-capacity spatio-temporal data retention system.
