説明

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of acute exercise, such as walking, which has a constant rhythm, and tennis, which is intermittent and has an irregular rhythm, on the psychological aspects of university students, using the Stroop test pre and post the exercise. A comparative study was made based on the results. A comparison of Stroop test scores pre and post exercise in the walking group and tennis group revealed the following. 1)There was a significant decrease in the white and black test and color test scores pre and post walking (p<.001). 2)There was a significant decrease in the black and white test and color test scores pre and post playing tennis (p<.01). 3)The white and black test and color test scores significantly decreased post walking compared to post playing tennis (p<.05). From the above, both walking, which is an acute exercise with a constant rhythm of about 20 minutes, and tennis, which is an intermittent exercise with an irregular rhythm, both contribute to the activation of brain activity and improve psychological aspects. It was also suggested that walking is more effective psychologically than tennis.
