説明

A 67-year-old man presented with intermittent claudication and aortoiliac peripheral artery disease associated with bilateral common iliac artery aneurysms. He was treated with the double-D technique using the Viabahn VBX balloon-expandable covered stent. The Viabahn VBX was placed 2 cm above the aortic bifurcation and 5.9 cm between the common and external iliac arteries. The aortic bifurcation was then hyperdilated using two Mustang balloon catheters (10 mm × 20 mm). Postoperatively, intermittent claudication disappeared, computed tomography showed closed common iliac artery aneurysms, and the Viabahn VBX of the aortic bifurcation was D-shaped. Three years later, the patient remained healthy.
