The purpose of this article is to reconsider ideological structure of the modern Emperor system and it's transformation in the phase of a social look to "home" of the Imperial Family. In other word, we seek to consider the process when modern Japanese people and the mass media turn great interest to Imperial Family's private with rise of an idea that values "home" highly. Through this attempt, we seek to elucidate that an ideological reproduction of Emperor system in 1900-30s was complemented through the Imperial Household being considered socially as people who buried in the private. It becomes a trial to bring the next new knowledge about three points. Primarily we will be able to reconsider the resistant properties that Japanese people and mass media of modern times had for an ideology policy of the government in relation to Emperor sovereign power theory. Secondly, in this paper we will be able to clarify transformation of the modern Emperor system from an angle of Imperial Family's "de-politics" process. Thirdly, we will be able to elucidate the relationship between the formation of the prewar "Popular Emperor system" and a Japanese social modernization process with relation to penetration of privatism.
