The SEIKEN-SHIKI Personality Inventory (INV) was published in 1960. The INV is intended to measure the personality types (cyclothymia, schizothymia, viskOses temperament, hysterical character and nervousness), based on the theories of personality typology by Kretschmer, Sheldon and Sano Makita. At the suggestion of the users reporting differences of percentages of personality types between 1960's and today's data, we restandardized the INV, and revised some of the items as well as its scales. The number of subjects is 3674 (male : 2028, female : 1646), including senior high school students, university students, and employees of companiess. Although the result shows that the percentages of personality types are different from those of 1960's, it is nonetheless significant. Factor Analysis of the items proves that each type above mentioned is generally extracted as a factor.
