近年,エリア限定ワンセグ放送(エリアワンセグ)という特定の範囲に存在するユーザに対する新しい情報提供の手段が試行され始めており,複数の情報を組み合わせた情報保障への適用が期待できる.本稿では,ワンセグ放送の簡便で柔軟な情報提示の手段としての可能性を検討している.聴覚に障害がある大学生を対象としたアンケート調査の結果から,ワンセグ放送を用いた情報保障提供の有効性が明らかとなった.また,実際のシステム構築や運用上の課題を示している. Area One segment-Broadcasting(Area One-Seg) has been used for information service for the users who exist particular area. In this report, we constructed the remote sign language interpret / real-time caption providing system via Area One-Seg, and conducted hearing impaired students survey at actual lecture scene. The results show that about 80% of students presented positive response, and effectiveness of captioning history. Moreover, expected feature of One-Seg receiver to provide information assurance, and acquiring a broadcasting license are also discussed.
