抄録

The purpose of this report is to improve a training curriculum for childcare worker from the view point of physical education. Today, it is necessary for childcare center to provide with various types of support for parents in the neighborhood to help good child rearing. In Nara Prefecture, 76.3% of childcare center allow the parents and children living in nearby area to regularly use childcare center garden, and 47.1% also have a workshop of children's play and family activities for their parents. The students as trainee of childcare worker must learn the skill not only to get along with each caring child at childcare center, but also to facilitate a good relation between children and parents. We must improve the training program including student's participation of community events for parents and kids, so that the students can learn more nursery rhythms and physical activities as well as importance of tactile contact between parents and children.
