Description

Now we can see our conception of space remarkably developing. This may be more clearly described when we say that the human life going on actively in actual society is making old ideas rapidly change. The chief plot of functionalism seen from its method was formerly considered that we should analyze its object functionally and then construct it again. Lately so important has come the problem of the design of living space, the problem how a human living can be arranged in space, namely, the problem of planning. This study is intended to research how minimum (or maximum) space and function is necessary for individual movement and living, and for the arrangement of furnitures and other equipments. Also a full study is seen here for what mechanic for human living should be had to say nothing of measurement of human scale.
