本研究は，医師の説明内容と患者の受け止め方の差異を明らかにすることを目的とした．インフォームドコンセントを受ける血液内科の患者に対し，医師からのインフォームドコンセント後にインタビューを実施した．医師から説明された情報を患者が受け止めたのは30％にも満たなかった．しかし，インフォームドコンセント後のインタビューでは，患者の年齢や，患者なりの対処の仕方などを背景とした気がかりが表出された．看護師は意図的なコミュニケーションにより，インフォームドコンセント前から患者の理解を深め，その内容をインフォームドコンセントに含めることにより，患者のより良い意思決定に繋がると考えられる．

This study aimed to clarify the difference between the explanation given by the doctor and how it is accepted by the patients．We interviewed the patients who received informed consent in the Department of Hematology．Less than 30% of the patients accepted the information given by the doctor．During the interview made after the patient's informed consent was obtained，the patients showed some anxiety based on the patient’s age and way to cope with the situation．Through intentional communication with the patients，the nurses can understand the patients deeply before informed consent is obtained，and may help the patients make a better decision by including the information in the informed consent.
