抄録

This paper has the purpose to study the vision of the future of the Insurance Business in Japan through the thought of Shoueki Ando. And I have a high value on the thoughts of Shoueki Ando mainly on the following points. (1)The advance and the recession are the characteristics of the nature. And the surplus is produced through this process. However it is impossible to evade for the nature to make some mistakes through this process. (2)All persons are required to execute their roles with good faith. (3)The Liberty and Equality are allowed for all. By the way, I have the hypothesis that the Human History has the similarities with the Life Cycle of Men. And the Edo era that Shoueki Ando had worked corresponds to the fifth stage of the Life Cycle, the stage of adolescence. The greatest characteristics of the stage of adolescence must be the pursuit of identity. We can see the same characterics in the thought of Shoueki Ando. It is very regret that the Japanese society has not attained the identity which is the characteristics of the stage of adolescence yet, though we live in the next stage of adolescence in the stage of The Human History. So we have to attain the identity as soon as possible, and to pursue the noble mind and solidarity that are the main subjects of the stage of adults. I have a firm belief that insurance business has the great contributions for this.
