Description

The purpose of this paper is analyzing the relation about dominance and violence in religious group. We have seen many violence in Gulf War and Aum Shinrikyo Case. After that, I realize one of the most important function of religion is to legitimatize the power. Both power and dominace are necessary to the maintenance of group. And, I realize that another function of religion is to autorize the violence. In this paper, I analize the function of religion with special reference to Aum Shinrikyo.
