This paper presents a study into the cultivation of emotional self-expression abilities of senior high school students and elementary school pupils through including and carrying out of the music classes program arranged for this purpose. A positive and effective influence had been confirmed through a questionnaire taken among students of K-12 level at the end of the program. The questionnaire also showed a deficiency in fostering of the emotional self-expression abilities in elementary and high school education and a necessity to re-examine the contents of the music classes taught at school. Then a suitable adoption of the elementary school music classes' program had been made and tested with an emphasis on bolstering up of the pupils' emotional and verbal expression abilities. It can be said that the undertaking of ameliorative reforms in school music class program will positively contribute to the process of children's self-expression development.
