Study of Solidifying Character for Aluminum Alloy in Vacuum Ingestion Evaporative Pattern Casting Process

The solidifying characteristics of different modulus test block for vacuum ingestion evaporative pattern casting process have been studied, and the influence of the vacuum degree was discussed in this paper. The relationship between the solidifying time and casting model was obtained, and the experiments show that relation between solidifying time and square model is linear, and the variation of vacuum degree hasn't remarkable influence on the solidifying time.
