抄録

Unsteady flow effects are important in all turbomachinery,but the analysis of the unsteady flow in a rotating blade passage of gas or steam turbine is very difficult due to many factors. ln this paper, the water analog method being applied to simulate the complicated flow through the cascade of partial admission turbine, is described the procedure of this hydraulic analog approach including a graphical analysis of wave propagation based on the onedimensional characteristic method. The experimental results showed fairly good agreement with the theory, and proved the shallow water analog approach was very valid to simulate such a two-dimensional unsteady f1uid flow problem.
