The followings became clear about the educational university students' scientific abilities.1) As regards scientific concept, science students' degree of comprehension was higher intentionally in the physical domain and the chemical domain than that of students who did not major in science in the senior high school. 2) The same result was obtained also as regards scientific thinking. These results could be considered that both the number and combination of subjects of science studied in the senior high school would have influenced strongly. Namely, the average number of subjects of science which science students studied in the senior high school was about twice that of students who did not major in science. And also,most of science students were studying both "Physics" and "Chemistry" in the senior high school. The lecture was performed about virus and bacteria for students who had not studied "Biology" in the senior high school. After the lecture,their scientific understanding about virus and bacteria became higher intentionally. From these things,in order to help students to develop scientific abilities,it is desirable for ones to learn all four subjects of science in the senior high school.
