Abstract
位置を限定して携帯電話に情報配信を行うモバイル情報シテスムSpaceTagについて，被験者を依頼した評価実験を行った．位置限定を行う方式と行わない方式とを比較したところ，それぞれに長所短所があり，被験者の評価は二分された．また，位置限定によって，情報が「その場にある」という感覚を被験者が感じたかどうかを評価したところ，肯定的なデータが得られた．以上の結果，位置限定の効果が認められた．位置限定を行わない情報提示方式と応用目的により使い分けることにより，SpaceTagを有効に実用化できることが期待される．
This paper describes an evaluation result of the SpaceTag system, which distributes information to mobile terminals in a restricted area. Comparing between restriction and non-restriction of area, subjects reported that both methods of information distribution have their own advantages. Also, we obtained some data supporting our hypothesis that location restriction of accessibility gives a sense of existence, i.e., subjects tended to feel as if the information existed there. With these results, we can say that restriction of accessibility according to location gives the SpaceTag system some original characteristics that conventional systems do not have.
