Four faculty members were deputed to University of Alberta, Canada during September 23 and October 6, 2010 to undergo an intensive Faculty Development Program. The program was planned and coordinated by the Center for Globalization, Kumamoto University, and was implemented by the Department of Extension, University of Alberta. More than 25 faculty and staff of University of Alberta were involved at various stages of this program. In this article, the background and details of the program are presented.
