Description

Globalization is nothing new in history while it is a term calling protest on one side and hope on the other. It is globalization for the East Asia to lead export oriented industrialization. The East Asia has increased middle class substantially and attained more than 50% trade within the region. The scale of economy is clearer especially after the rise of China is acknowledged and India follows. The promotion of FTA is regarded as a fair wind. ASEAN is in the process of economic integration with the provision of ASEAN +3 and another +3. The foregoing progress accelerates to remind comparative advantage and the importance in knowledge-led services. The East Asia shifts the center of gravity in the development to better solution feasible for sustainability, including, but not limited to, governance, human environment, sound alternatives in terms of industrial society and civic community. The East Asia decreases old fashioned features of development states in order to meet new criteria for sustainability.
