This paper tries to grasp the actual situation of practical activities of Jena-plan education in Dutch schools on the spot, based on the findings of school visits and workshop in the Jena-plan Dutch schools on the spot, based on the findings of school visits and workshop in the Jena-plan education training in which we participated. It is confirmed that Jena-plan education developed in the Netherlands after the late 1960s, against the background of the transformation of lifestyle in Dutch society towards civil society (=<co>domains) formation. It was able to be understood through the training that what school education in the Netherlands ought to be suggests not only the education problem in the narrow sense but also the problem of the ideal way of society.
