抄録

Enhance science and mathematics education has been a pressing issue in Japan. In this report, as reference Common Core Georgia Performance Standards (CCGPS), the mathematics education in kindergarten is studied. It was compared that the contents of CCGPS and Course of Study for Kindergarten in Japan. The relating contents are shown in expect for kindergarten students of CCGPS and in five areas of Japanese Course of Study; health (physical and mental health), human relationships (the relationship between the child and other people), environment (children's surroundings and relationship to them), language (the process of language acquisition), and expression (feelings and expression).
