The purpose of the present study is to clarify the process by which primipara subjects can adapt from life after child birth to debut in Kosodate –Hiroba. It also examines the support to promote adaption to childcare life after childbirth. The Method is semi–structured I interviews were conducted with 13 primipara subjects and the data was interpreted and analyzed based on the Modified Grounded Theory Approach(M-GTA). As vesult, 28 concepts, 14 sub-categories, and 10 categories were classified. Finally, the author conceptualized the relationships among the concepts, and categories.The analysis clarified the decision process in which the primipara subject made decisions concerning childcare life and debut to the Kosodate –Hiroba. The study implied that support by experienced persons and experiences in the Kosodate–Hiroba before childbirth were related to the primipara subjects adaptation process in child care life.
