Rotary cranes are used in many fields, in which a suspended load must be transported and positioned without any swing. Therefore we simulated visual tracking of a rotary crane using gazing stereo vision installed on a rotary crane. Rotary crane has broad working space, so we use stereo vision on the crane's rotary axis that has gazing motion to track the suspended load. In this paper we present simulation results of visual tracking of a rotary crane in state of boom-lifting or boom-rotating with rope-hoisting.
