算数・数学教育における教材の意義とその背景を中心として、研究授業における現状、松沢要一による教材の2つの例である「分解・合成カード並べ」「倍数の見分け方」に関連してR. R. スケンプなど算数・数学教育の研究者の見方、また「統合的な見方」などの視点から述べてみる。また、これらの教材の意義と関連して、教師やそれを目指す学生に関連して、3節と4節で算数・数学教育やもっと広く桜井邦朋の著書から述べてみる。

We consider the backgrounds and the meaning of teaching materials in arithmetic and mathematics education through two the following two examples by Youichi Matsuzawa : (1) arrangement the cards of split or composition (2) criterion that a number is multiple of a natural number, and moreover the recent lesson study. We review the above (1) and (2) from viewpoins of idea of integration by R. R. Skemp and other mathematics educators. Also, we consider the above teaching materials related from some viewpoints by teachers and students (in particular, by Kunitomo Sakurai) in section 3 and 4.
