本研究は観光政策の側面から、急増している訪日中国人観光客の観光動向に着目し、観光政策と観光客の動向の間の因果関係を論じることを目的とする。観光客が急増している現象を発生している原因を考える場合、現象が有るところに着目し、プッシュ要因とプル要因を使用して、原因の分析を行う。プッシュ要因として中国のアウトバンド観光政策と設定し、プル要因としては日本のインバウンド観光政策と設定して、両要因の相関関係から訪日中国人の観光成果に、どのような影響与えたかを考察した。また、訪日中国人の観光動向に直接的に影響している媒介変数も明らかにした。

This research focuses on developing trends among tourists from China to Japan. It seeks to identify causal relationships between tourism policy and trends among this particular group of Chinese tourists. An analysis of these causal relationships was made by considering two factors: ‘pushing factors’, which refer to the outbound tourism policies of China; and ‘pulling factors’, which refer to the inbound tourism policies of Japan. A discussion is given regarding the effects that each of these two factors have on the behaviors of Chinese tourists traveling to Japan.
