抄録

Thanks to the rapid progress of information technology, CALL and PCLL have taken the place of LL on campus at many universities in Japan. CALL and PCLL enable students to do their tasks at their own pace in foreign language classes and enhance their motivation. However, in spite of these advantages, many teachers are considerably concerned about their use due to the complexity of operation, and especially when teachers face technical troubles. In order to reduce teachers' anxiety and encourage them to utilize the technology, it is necessary to provide them with adequate support as well as instruction before and during the semester.
