KINOUSUI, which is electrolyzed NaCl aqueous solution in + electrode side batch separated loosely by resistive cloth, was chemicalley analyzed. The solution is prepared by a commercially available apparatus, and advised to be used hygienically for pre-cook-washing. The most probable product seemed to be NaClO. The other less probable chemical spiecies in the solution might be Cl₂. ClO₂⁻ From the present standpoint, the oxidizing power of the solutions are minimum essential factor. Therefore oxiding power is simply expressed by ClO⁻ ―equivalent. About 40 mM NaCl aqueous solution was found to induce 0.6~0.4 mM ClO⁻ equivalent oxdizing power.
