アスペルガー症候群（Asperger syndrome 以下AS と表記）を持つ3人の若い女性において見られた、恋愛と性の課題の特徴をまとめ、援助の仕方について検討した。AS を持つ女性にとって、恋愛や性の課題のみがとりわけ特別な障害というわけではない。しかしこれらの課題は、健常人でも各自の認知バイアスの歪みを受けやすいもので、AS の方にとっては、とりわけその個性の独自性に修飾されやすいものであった。また、危険な対処行動に至る場合もありうることがわかった。このため、3 例のそれぞれが持つ、AS 独自の認知特徴に焦点を当てた治療とカウンセリングの仕方について検討し、考察した。

Romance and sexual behavior are two of many behavioral problems in people suffering from Asperger's Syndrome (AS). The problems are easily affected by distorted cognitive bias in both AS individuals and normal subjects, which may lead to unsafe coping behaviors. Problematic behaviors related to romance and sexuality of three women with AS were investigated, and methods of psychological support are suggested. Based on the results of the study, the authors recommend methods of treatment and counseling utilizing supportive psychotherapy focusing on their own cognition..
