The goals of the study were to reveal the the characteristics of developmental process of “Resource room for young children with speech and Language disorders” in local welfare and educational and medical administration during 1970s-2010s. In particular, focused on the management Style. The “Resource room for young children” in Hokkaido was set as the analysis target. It is because Hokkaido is an advanced area in development of the “Resource room for young children”. As a result, There were most forms by which the “Resource room for young children” is put side by side to the “Resource room for hildren” in elementary school, and instructors are stationed. It is guessed that this form is a thing with the aim which secures the consistency of teaching. A possibility that the “Resource room for young children” could be examined according to a function type was shown by this study. Also, As a special feature, participation of welfare administration had influenced greatly during 1970s-2010s.
