Description
This paper examines the media history of marriage information, focusing on historical changes in the magazine Zexy. It was not easy to gather information about marriage and wedding from one magazine which had been scattered on various media before the launch of Zexy. Zexy, which appeared in 1993, changed this situation drastically, and comprehensively posted three types of marriage and wedding information, and became a revolutionary marriage information media. In the 1990s, Zexy's information dissemination focused on the manners of marriage for brides, so the meaning of weddings built on the magazine was only a "passing point for new life". In the 2000s, in response to the drastic changes in the media environment due to the spread of the Internet and changes in the marriage culture of society, large amounts of bridal information for all wedding participants, including grooms and parents, is published in Zexy. For this reason, weddings that can be read in magazines have come to be emphasized as "graduation ceremony of single life".
