Description

The New Lifestyle is now promoted to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). It includes practices such as keeping physical distance and avoiding the three Cs( closed spaces, crowded places, close-contact settings). These will be effective against the COVID-19, but also increase psychological distance between persons. We fear that the distance may have bad effects on developing morality of pupils relating to friendship, trust, mutual understanding. On the other hand, topics of the COVID-19 will be good teaching materials for moral education, because it is the current concern of pupils. We proposed five examples of study guidance plan for moral education class using topics of the COVID-19.
