The purpose of this study was to reflect on the lecture of “understanding for children with special support needs”, which is based on core curriculum in teacher training programs. Knowledge of special needs education(special needs education, inclusive education, reasonable accommodation, universal education)and recognition of disabilities (visual impairments, hearing impairments, intellectual disability, physical disabilities, health impairments, developmental disabilities)was surveyed and image and its change of “Jiritsu-Katsudo”was to examined through reaction-paper of students. As a result, Studentsʼ understanding of “Jiritsu-Katsudo” was just only reflected on wording of the aim of “Jiritsu-Katudo”, due to abstraction of wording aim or contents, difficulties in imaging learning or living difficulties of children with disabilities. In order to improve the purpose of this lecture, it is necessary to promote understanding the process of “Jiritsu-Katsudo” through the introduction or exercise on actual learning or living difficulties of children with disabilities, and teaching example of “Jiritsu-Katsudo”.
