本栖湖は,山梨県甲府市の南約22km,富士山の北西約17kmに位置し,864年に海(せのうみ)が青木ヶ原溶岩流によって堰き止められ,西湖・精進湖と分離して形成された堰止湖である。湖水面標高は900m,水深は富士五湖の中で最深の121mを有する。本研究では,年間を通して湖心において水温,主要イオン濃度の分析とpH4.8アルカリ度の測定を行った。これらの調査結果から,水温・水質の季節変化と水収支を明らかにした。
The Lake Motosu-ko is located about 22km south of Kofu-City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and about 17km northwestof Mt. Fuji. The lake was formed by the natural damming of lake Senoumi the Aokigahara lava flow that beganto flow by the eruption of the wealth volcano dammed uped. The altitude above the sea level is 900m, thedepth is 121m. In this study, I conducted through the year the periodical measurement of the plumb distributionof the heart of the lake, main ion density analysis and pH4.8alkalinity measurement. From these observation results,I clarified the seasonal change of the water temperature and the water balance of the Lake Motosu-ko.
