Abstract
type:text
Peter F. Drucker, management philosopher and collector of Japanese suibokuga(ink paintings) defined Japanese art as “shibui" while Shuzo Kuki, existentialist, described Japanese culture as “iki no ko-zou." Both Japanese sensitivities cannot be expressed into any other foreign languages to convey the same perceptions and sensibilities. However they share the aesthetic values of life doctrines and sustainability of harmony at the extreme corners of death and life. These shared values could be applied to management in the real world from the integration perspectives of art and management and can be directed toward the dualistic monism theories in glo-cal management, i.e., to manage is to be managed.
