園芸用鉢物の培養土および施肥に関する基礎的な知見を得るために培養土と肥料の種類を変えた22区の試験区を設け122日間裸地条件下で肥料成分の動向を調査した.1.溶脱水量は腐葉添加により増加したが, ピートモス添加の場合は田土, 砂区では減少した.溶脱水のpHは時期的にかなり変動したが, 全期を通じて緩効性肥料区の方が速効性肥料区より高く, またピートモス添加によりpHが低下する傾向がみられた.2.チッ素の初期溶脱は砂基土区>田土基土区>赤土基土区であり, 田土および赤土基土区ではピートモス添加により溶脱量が増加した.速効性肥料区は初期の溶脱割合が高かった.3.溶脱水中のチッ素の形態比から用土間, 添加資材間および肥料間で硝酸化成の程度に差異のあることが認められ, 緩効性肥料区は速効性肥料区よりも高い割合を示した.また速効性肥料区の中ではピートモス添加区はその割合が著しく低下した.4.リン酸の溶脱は砂基土区を除いてはほとんどみられなかった.5.カリの溶脱はチッ素の場合と同様に砂基土区>田土基土区>赤土基土区の順であり, 初期の溶脱割合はチッ素の場合よりも高かった.しかし田土基土区および赤土基土区では全溶脱量はチッ素よりも顕著に少なかった.6.溶脱水中の全力チオンと全アニオンはほぼ1に近い当量比で存在していた.

Studies on Composts and Fertilization in Pot-Plant Cultivation. II Movement of Fertilized Nutrients through the Pots with Different Composts and Fertilizers. Movement of fertilized nutrients through the pots with different composts and fertilizers was investigated for 122 days under the non-planting condition. Total amount of leached solution was increased by adding leaf mold in three soils tested (paddy loam soil, volcanic ash soil and sand), but decreased by adding peat-moss in paddy loam soil or sand. PH values of leached solution from composts varied with the lapse of time in every combination of composts and fertilizers. Cosiderably lower value, however, was obtained by applying quickly available fertilizer in comparison with the application of slowly available one throughout this experiment. PH value of the leached solution were decreased by adding peat-moss. The order of eary leaching of nitrogen was: sandy compost>paddy loam soil compost>volcanic ash soil compost. The amounts of leached nitrogen from paddy load soil compost and volcanic ash soil compost were increased by adding peat-moss in the composts. By applying quickly available fertilizer, higher proportion of the early leaching for the total leached nitrogen was obtained than that of slowly available fertilizer. On the basis of the result obtained by the analysis of the proportion of NO_3-N for NH_4-N in the leached solution, it was speculated that significant difference in nitrification was brought about by the sorts of basal soils, fertilizers and additive materials, respectively. The rate of NO_3-N in the leached solution through the composts supplied quickley available fertilizer was lower than that through slowly available fertilizer, more remarkable decrease in the rate was observed by the addition of peat-moss in the composts.
