説明

type:text

Astronomy is an interesting field, which gives us a good chance to think about the concept of time and space, including the beginning of the universe as well as its limit. Many science textbooks in America and European countries contain very carefully thought out facts, incorporating a lot of the latest information and photos of space sciences, thereby attracting the interest of students. We found out through our survey on student experiences, that many of them who like earth science have an interest in astronomical phenomena, observing stars in the sky through experiments awns studies. Even if it is only a simulation experiment in a Planetarium, it became clear the experience sufficiently contributes to the students learning. The survey on levels of understanding astronomy revealed the validity of the measure taken in the revised Teaching-Guidelines, that are to change the grade form the 1st year to 3rd year junior high students. When it comes to learning the concept of space and changing of viewpoints, which was a cause for the dislike of astronomy by students. In future research we are planning to explore in more detail changes in astronomical education in science classes in elementary and high schools in different grades, as weH as in line which various revisions of the Guidelines. We would like to use database to process vast information covering wide areas.
