2008年に学習指導要領が公示され,幼稚園では2009年度,小学校では2011年度,中学校では2012年度から完全実施されている.今回の改訂により,中学校指導要領の内容に「日食」が復活し,また,どの教科書会社でも日食について扱うようになった.ここでは,戦後に検定された教科書から現在使用されている教科書まで,日食にかかわる内容がいつ扱われていたのかを調べるとともに,戦後から現在に至るまでに日本で観測された日食を調べ,教科書で日食が扱われることと日食の発生には関連性があるのか,またあるとすれば,日食の発生から教科書に日食の内容が載せられるまでどれだけの時間差があるのかを調べた.

In Japan, the government course guidelines were renewed in 2008, and enforced from 2009 for the kindergarten, from 2011 for the elementary school, and from 2012 for the junior high school. In this new government course guideline for the junior high school, the solar eclipse came back again a er a long time. We have investigated when and how the solar eclipse was treated in the textbooks for elementary and junior high schools. In addition, we have exam ined the correlation between the mention on the solar eclipse in the textbooks and the occurrence of the so lar eclipse in Japan
