レッジョ・エミリア市における芸術教育 ―「レッジョ・ナラ」 を中心に―

レッジョ・エミリア市で開催されている語りの祭典「レッジョ・ナラ」の視察を中心に、レッジョ・エミリア市全体で表現者をどのように育てているか、その取り組みを検討した。その結果、レッジョ・エミリア教育を土台として、幼児期から一人一人の表現を育む中、「レッジョ・ナラ」という街全体で開催する「語りの祭典」は、市民による表現活動の発表の場であるとともに、プロの表現に親子で一緒に触れ、芸術と関わる場でもある。幼児期から始まる芸術教育は、小学校・中学校・高校、そして生涯学習へ繋がり、生涯を見通した芸術教育が行われ、表現者、鑑賞者を育んでいる。また、「子どもの頃から市民である」という意識を持たせ、街全体が表現の場となり、プロも保護者も、障害の有無や人種を超えて、多様な表現を認め合うことにより、感性を高め、表現力、観賞力を育んでいると考えられる。This paper examines how expressive people are fostered in the city of Reggio Emilia,with a focus on the Reggionarra, a narrative festival held in the city.Results indicated that an individual’s expressiveness is nurtured from an early age through education in Reggio Emilia.Reggionarra has become an amazing setting where residents can express themselves while also seeing expressive activities by professionals.The festival is also associated with the arts.Art education starts in early childhood and continues throughout one’s school years, and it leads to lifelong learning. Art education over a lifetime fosters expressive and appreciative people.Reggionarra instills an awareness that "one is a city citizen from childhood" and it provides a setting for expression in the city. Professional artists and residents acknowledge various forms of expression, regardless of whether one has a disability or not and one’s race. This increases sensitivity and it fosters expressiveness and appreciation.
