One case of duodenal malignant lymphoma is reported. In Japan, 21 cases only of this malignancy have been reported so far, which consist of 16 patients of reticulum cell sarcoma, four patients of lymphosarcoma and one patient of Hodgkm's disease. The case encountered by the authors is a 37-year-old male carpenter with epigastralgia, nausea and vomiting. He was found on hypotonic duodenography to have a stenosis and dilatation of the duodenum. At operation an enlargement of the lymph node in the mesenterium near to the ligament of Treitz was found and resected. Histologic examination of this enlarged lymph node revealed malignant lymphoma. Pancreatoduodenectomy was perforformed. Histologic examination of the surgical specimen revealed Hodgkin's disease of the duodenum. Postoperative course of this patient was quite satisfactory.
