This paper analyses Sanpou-ki and Sangaku-keiko-sou written by the Sekikawa family in the19th Century. Moreover, it examines how arithmetic was taught in the Sekikawa family. Consequently, this paper reveals that the Sekikawa family wrote textbooks with reference to arithmetic books published in the Edo period and taught arithmetic to employees using the textbooks.
