The 2022 World Happiness Rankings have been released, and Finland has topped the list for the fifth year in a row. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the World Happiness Report, which uses global survey data to report on how people evaluate their own lives in more than 150 countries worldwide. Japan placed 54th among the 146 countries and regions covered by the report, up two notches from last year but still among the lowest in the developed world. We doubt the following survey rankings; Saudi Arabia 25th, Spain 29th, Italy 31st, Kosovo 32nd, Brazil 38th and Guatemala 39th. Therefore, we propose a unique indicator of economic well-being using OECD data.
