Description

The large and medium-sized mammalian fauna of Kiriake site within the riverhead area of Uonogawa river, in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, Japan, were surveyed using camera traps from August to October 2021. Six camera traps were set up within the survey area, and recordings were obtained for a total of 414 days. Eight species of large and medium-sized mammals were recorded by the cameras : Macaca fuscata, Nyctereutes procyonoides, Ursus thibetanus, Martes melampus, Paguma larvata, Cervus nippon, Sus scrofa, and Capricornis crispus
