Structural mechanics is a mostly required subject for designers and construction engineers to buildings.However, it becomes one of the difficult subjects for the students to understand. The reason why its understanding is difficult is that force is invisible. Therefore, we aimed at the production of the structural mechanics model which visualize force, using piezoelectric element and LED (Light Emitting Diode). The models presented in this study are a simply supported beam and a truss structure. A position of the subjected load and its relation of reaction forces to the beam become clear by using this beam model. The truss structure model presented makes easy to understand tension or compression forces to members by the color that the LED emitted light.
