In this paper, we clarified the current state of terminal use and teacher's recognition in communication situations in mathematics, and examined the effectiveness of terminals.As a result, one terminal per person were used less frequently in mathematics than in other subjects, often as a substitute for textbooks, notebooks, and physical manipulation.In addition, we found that the higher the effectiveness in the communication scene, the higher the Frequency of device usage.However, it became clear that just using a terminal is not enough, and that the terminal is expected to be used as a "Trigger" for direct dialogue with others.
