The present study was designed to examine the efects of eurhythmics techniques on the students' learning in classes for “expression", one of the core subjects in nursery school teacher training. The study method was twofold:(1)to discover the elements that the contents of nursery school education for “expression" and the purposes of the eurhythmics pedagogy have in common and (2) to conduct classes of Expression III using eurhythmics techniques and investigate, by a questionnaire, the students' evaluation of whether or noteurhythmics could be effective in understanding children's expressive activities. It was found that there were many overlapplng elements between the aims in teaching "expression" in nursery school and those in the eurhythmics pedagogy. Also, the questionnaire results indicated that the student sperceived theeurhythmics techniques to beconducive to enhancement of children's ability for expression. These findings led to the conclusion that the eurhythmics pedagogy could be an effective means of classroom instruction for "expression" in nursery school teacher training.
