抄録

The objectives of this study are: to propose a drainage system that can adapt to extension or relocation of water-use spaces due to conversion of office buildings; and to collect knowledge contributory to drainage performance evaluation and planning/design of the proposed drainage system. Firstly, drainage loads that were generated in a horizontal fixture branch of a hybrid drainage system, which comes in three variations, were sorted according to experiment results. Secondly, the sorted drainage loads were applied to a loop vent-type drainage stack system so as to identify the drainage performance of the system and the influence of the drainage loads on the system. Lastly, drainage load calculations were carried out on the assumption that the hybrid drainage system would be applied to a high-rise office building, and the calculation results were compared with the previously identified drainage performance so as to consider the number of storeys and the size of a building to which the hybrid drainage system would be applicable.
