This paper describes the research on the nutritional characteristic of Kelowna's hascap berries and the development of its processed food, which research purpose is to be introduced in the Japanese domestic market and to promote the activity for coming into well-known fruit as Canada hascap in Japan. The study found that Kelowna's has the superiority over the Hokkaido's and ordinary strawberries, which are already come into market, for the comparison data of protein, potassium, vitamin A and vitamin C. And also found that the jam made as the trial proceeded food is able to preserve under normal condition in a long time. (Kelowna in Canada is a sister-city of Kasugai in Japan) (Tateo Matsumoto)
